cFocus Software seeks an IT Technical Writer to join our program supporting Administrative Office of the United States Courts (AOUSC). This position is remote. This position requires the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
Qualifications:
- 7 years’ experience developing IT presentation material for technical information (cybersecurity)
- 10 years’ experience working collaboratively with senior and support IT personnel
- 10 years of experience with Microsoft Office Tools such as Word, PowerPoint Excel, Visio, and Forms
- Sound foundation in grammar, punctuation, and use of the English language, with emphasis on producing clear, direct prose.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, journalism or a related field required.
- Additional education or certifications (e.g., Network+, Security+, CISSP) in IT/Information Security preferred.
Duties:
- Develop newsletters highlighting weekly vulnerability and patching activity.
- Develop guides for how to utilize certain technologies.
- Draft, review, and edit IT presentation material.
- Generate feedback forms using tools such as Microsoft Forms.
- Provide written recommendations on Government drafts of executive summaries and briefings.
- Provide recommendations and input into other content and presentations.
