We are seeking an experienced IT Team Leader to manage and develop our global IT team. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on technical expertise, focusing on team development, process automation, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and manage a global IT team of three members (Systems Administrator and two IT Support specialists)
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Bridge time zone differences and ensure effective collaboration between US and Israeli team members
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members
Strategic Planning & Execution
- - Define and implement quarterly OKRs aligned with company objectives
- - Establish, track, and report team KPIs to the CTO
- - Create and maintain IT operational dashboards
- - Develop and execute the IT department's annual strategy and budget
Technical Leadership
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation across IT operations
- Streamline helpdesk and user administration processes
- Develop and maintain IT standard operating procedures
- Implement tools and systems to increase team efficiency
- Provide technical oversight for major IT initiatives
- Guide the team in implementing security best practices
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions
- Participate in hands-on technical work as needed
Requirements
- 7+ years of IT experience with 2+ years in a leadership role
- Experience managing distributed teams across different time zones
- Advanced knowledge of IT infrastructure and systems
- Experience with automation tools and scripting
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Cultural awareness and ability to work across different regions
