ABOUT THE TEAM
Anduril is seeking a Systems Engineer to support our IT Systems Engineer across Azure, AWS, and on-premises environments. You will have the opportunity to work with and learn from some of the world’s best engineers and cybersecurity professionals as you help to implement cutting-edge systems. You will work directly with development groups and systems deployed across the globe, all while gaining invaluable experience in navigating complex IT environments.
ABOUT THE JOBWHAT YOU’LL DO
- Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure solutions across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises environments (VMware).
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize the performance and reliability of critical infrastructure systems.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
- Configure and manage servers and storage systems to ensure optimal performance and availability with technologies such as (Pure, VAST, Netapp, WEKA).
- Ensure data integrity and security through regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues and outages promptly.
- Document infrastructure designs, processes, and procedures for future reference and knowledge sharing.
- Stay current with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve infrastructure capabilities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering, with a focus on cloud technologies.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their respective services.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Experience with automation and scripting using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and load balancing.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Datacenter / colo experience.
- GPU/CPU HPC experience a plus.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or CloudWatch.
US Salary Range
$122,000—$183,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
