We are now looking for an IT Systems Engineer with strong technical skills and solid working experience to work in new challenging projects.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the design, implementation and support of IT infrastructure
- Install and configure storage infrastructure, virtualization systems, servers and applications
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades
- Designs, installs, configures, upgrades and maintains network equipment (switches, routers and wireless) and security solutions (Firewalls, IPS/IDS, Anti-Virus and DLP)
- Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
- Propose solutions that will meet the client needs
- Analyze technical issues and provide 2nd and 3rd level support
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
- Maintain expert level knowledge of various vertical areas of functionality and technology within IT engineering technologies
- University degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 2 years+ hands-on IT engineering experience
- Experience working with IBM & Lenovo computing systems.
- Experience on Backup software and operations
- Experience on Networking Switching/Routing/Wireless technologies
- Very well knowledge of virtualization environments
- Very well knowledge of network monitor tools
- Familiar with working and planning tasks using ticketing systems
- Very well written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience on installing, configuring, and administering Windows, VMware ESXi and Linux server environments.
- Experience on High Availability and Clustering technologies.
