Job Scope
We are looking for a Full-Time IT support specialist for our Redmond Office. This role is providing technical assistance and support for end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems, and assisting in the management of IT infrastructure. Job duties involve troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining IT assets, and supporting various IT projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
    • Respond to and resolve IT-related inquiries and issues from users in a timely manner.
    • Provide first and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot a variety of IT issues, escalating complex problems to the appropriate team.
    • Support remote and onsite employees with IT-related concerns.
  • IT Systems & Infrastructure Maintenance:
    • Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, servers, and peripheral devices.
    • Ensure the proper functioning of operating systems and applications.
    • Assist with onsite network connectivity issues, including LAN, WLAN, and VLAN troubleshooting.
  • User Support & Training:
    • Assist employees with IT-related inquiries and provide guidance and instruction on software or device usage.
    • Conduct basic IT training for end-users to improve productivity and security awareness.
  • Asset & Inventory Management:
    • Maintain accurate records of IT assets, including hardware and software inventory.
    • Coordinate the procurement, deployment, reuse, and decommissioning of IT equipment.
  • Security & Compliance:
    • Adhere to company IT security policies and procedures.
    • Assist in implementing cybersecurity best practices, including endpoint protection and software updates.
    • Monitor and report any security incidents or vulnerabilities.
    • Conduct risk assessments on all IT-related operations for the Redmond office, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation measures to support QMS-related tasks and ensure compliance with ISO certification requirements.
  • Collaboration & Project Support:
    • Work closely with the GenScript IT department to implement new technologies and system improvements.
    • Support IT projects, including system migrations, upgrades, software rollouts, and infrastructure optimization.
    • Document IT processes and contribute to knowledge base articles for future reference.


Experiences & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office 365, and common business applications.
  • Experience with IT troubleshooting tools and remote support software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of basic networking concepts, Active Directory, and IT security best practices is a plus.
  • Prefer Bilingual (English, Mandarin)
