About the opportunity:


We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to join our team as part of a fast growing Data, AI, and Platform services company. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow within a fast-paced environment, assisting our Sales Team, Google Partners, and clients with workshops, planning events, and day-to-day IT support. You’ll be the go-to person for IT HelpDesk support, hardware setup, user onboarding/offboarding, and more.


The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of experience with Google Workspace, strong client-facing communication skills, and a keen ability to solve problems quickly. You’ll be an integral part of a dynamic team, contributing to the smooth operation of our technology stack to maintain employee productivity while growing into more complex projects and deployments over time.

About the job:

  • Provide day-to-day support for hardware and software issues for end-users
  • Respond to and resolve support tickets efficiently and professionally
  • Manage the process of onboarding new users, setting up their devices, accounts, and software (especially Google Workspace)
  • Handle user offboarding tasks, ensuring accounts and data are securely managed
  • Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment such as laptops, desktops, and peripherals
  • Investigate and triage issues and events based on existing security monitoring capabilities of our GSuite and Endpoint Management suite of tools
  • Provide recommendations and proactive solutions to improve overall monitoring and cyber hygiene
  • Interact with clients visiting the site for workshops and planning events, ensuring smooth technology integration and troubleshooting
  • Support the Sales Team and Google Partner interactions, ensuring all tech needs are met
  • Work closely with internal teams, including Sales, to ensure seamless technology support and deployment
  • Help in the deployment and configuration of IT solutions for clients and internal users
  • Assist in the technical setup for client workshops, internal events, and other business functions. This includes managing AV equipment, devices, and network connectivity

About you:

  • 5+ years of IT support experience, with a strong understanding of Google Workspace (G Suite)
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to our Naperville office and client sites
  • Experience with hardware setup and troubleshooting
  • Client-facing experience, ideally in a technical or IT support capacity
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Drive, Meet, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware (laptops, desktops, peripherals)
  • Comfort with troubleshooting software and hardware issues
  • Ability to manage user accounts, permissions, and groups within Google Workspace
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users effectively
  • Positive, professional attitude and a customer-service orientation
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
