The Impact You’ll Make in this Role 

As a L2 Support Engineer you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Provide technical support for all 3M HIS products for Revenue Cycle Management and Clinical Productivity Solutions
  • Collaborating with customers to understand their needs and ensure successful support and usage of our solutions
  • Collaborate with third party vendors to successfully support the integration of our products with other systems
  • Contribute to and support the business unit to achieve goals and objectives of the HIS Division’s Business plan
  • Participate with a team of professionals in providing a high level of cohesive technical service in the above areas
  • Participate in functional and user acceptance testing

Your Skills and Expertise 

  • System operations, including monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting
  • Software Development Lifecycle processes
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills
  • Highly motivated and dedicated to the goals of the overall organization
  • Capable of maintaining effective and professional customer relations in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player and innovative problem solver
     

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND at least one (1) year of technical support experience
  • High School Diploma/GED or other qualification in IT related field AND three (3) years technical support or network and server administration or engineering experience

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Master's degree in information technology or a related field from an accredited institution
  • Five (5) years of Technical Support experience in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Industry knowledge of health care and/or health information systems (HIS) or health information management (HIM)
  • Functional knowledge of network, server and desktop operating systems
  • LAN/WAN installation environment experience
  • Ability to learn proprietary software applications quickly
  • Ability to work independently within a team of professionals

Work location: Sydney, Australia

  • Hybrid Eligible

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
