The Opportunity
The role of the IT Sr Manager-SAP Finance is to lead a team of SAP analysts focused on the FI/CO functions within SAP. The analysts are assigned projects to implement changes within the SAP. The team is responsible for analyzing business and technical processes, documenting business requirements, defining changes to business processes, configuration, testing and implementation of changes to the enterprise-wide business systems. This person serves as the primary point of coordination and communication for enhancements and projects being planned for the FI/CO area of SAP, and coordinates with business and technology teams to support and test integrated business systems to ensure they meet requirements.
This role will provide leadership and expertise to team members and drives identification of opportunities for the effective use of SAP-related technology and the implementation of SAP-related solutions.
What You’ll Work On

Manages the intake, prioritization and completion of enhancements and projects assigned to the Finance team.

Works cross functionally within the SAP team and across other IT organizations to resolve complex issues.

Reviews the resolution and proposed solutions for business and assesses their technical impact to determine if overall results and objectives have been achieved in accordance with the existing global template and regulatory standards.

Ensures change control, access control, and landscape management processes are followed.

Builds strong working relationships and communicates effectively with partners in the Business and across the SAP Center of Excellence.

Ensures team compliance to Abbott administrative processes (time tracking, change management, IT compliance, etc.), including new team member on-boarding to these processes.

Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.

Possesses strong working knowledge of SAP FI/CO functions and Accounting practices.
-
Familiar with SOX and Audit controls.
-
Represents the Finance team and provides SAP expertise on large scale IT programs.

Directly manages employee and contractor resources. Responsible for scheduling and resource allocation to ensure adequate SAP functional support is available when needed for production issues.

Provides leadership and assists in training and career development of team members.
Required Qualifications/Experience
-
A recognized bachelor’s degree qualification.
-
10+ years of experience in SAP configurations with strong emphasis in FI/CO module.
-
3+ years of experience in leading IT-related projects.
-
Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

Maintain highest standards of customer service and business professionalism.
-
Strong leadership skills, including the ability to set goals and provide positive and constructive feedback respectfully to build positive relationships and improve business results.
Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge/prior experience of SAP FI/CO functions and Accounting practices.

Possesses knowledge of SOX and Audit controls.

Experience working in a large or midsized multinational healthcare organization.

Experience leading teams with a geographically dispersed operational environment.

The base pay for this position is
$127,300.00 – $254,700.00
