As our company continues to grow at an incredible pace, we are expanding our IT team and seeking an IT Specialist based in Chicago. This role will play a critical part in managing internal IT operations, ensuring seamless technology experiences for our employees, and supporting various IT initiatives across the organization.
This is a fully on-site role, requiring the IT Specialist to be in the office five days per week to provide hands-on support and maintain IT infrastructure.
What your day could consist of:
- Providing IT support to employees, troubleshooting issues related to hardware, software, networking, and security
- Managing and maintaining Mac devices using Kandji, including deployment, updates, and security policies
- Overseeing office IT infrastructure, including A/V equipment, networking hardware, and conferencing systems
- Supporting Okta SSO and user access management, ensuring secure authentication and application provisioning
- Assisting with new hire onboarding, setting up workstations, managing IT asset deployment, and conducting Mac training
- Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to facilitate IT projects and service improvements
- Handling asset management, including repairs and replacements of office equipment
- Support network security efforts
- Assisting with software integrations and automation efforts where applicable
- Providing technical support for office networking, including troubleshooting connectivity and hardware issues.
- Working within JIRA for ticket management and IT project tracking
- Support SOC2 compliance efforts as needed
What is needed:
- Advanced experience managing and supporting Apple devices using Kandji
- Strong expertise in SSO management, preferably Okta
- Excellent customer service skills and a proactive approach to IT support
- Experience managing IT assets and vendor relationships
- Knowledge of networking concepts, including troubleshooting Wi-Fi, firewalls, and office connectivity issues
- Experience with A/V setup and maintenance, including conference room technologies
- Experience with network security and IPS tools
- Familiarity with SOC2 compliance is a plus
- Experience using JIRA for IT ticketing and tracking is a plus
