What you'll do:

As the Network Specialist, you will represent an authority in the network technology, evaluate and test new technologies, perform or coordinate complex changes on the network infrastructure, work on incidents/problems as tier 2-3, create documentation to improve incident management, ensure seamless and efficient delivery of Network solution across multiple regions and locations, including Identification of areas where technical solutions would improve business performance, consulting across business operations, providing mentorship, and contributing with specialized network knowledge.

In detail, you will:

- Test new network solutions.

- Work with the network architectural function to support strategy and finalize low-level design. 

- Work with your regional peers to roll-out new solutions or support global project.

- Prepare technical articles to be used in the operational area.

- Keeping informed of developments in network technologies and infrastructure.

- Provide technical guideline for the network environment (WAN, WLAN and LAN) and other TCP / IP network protocols (Firewall, proxy, smtp, DNS, DHCP, ethernet)

- Information security and security protocols (SSL/TLS, SFTP, VPN, 8021X, SAML, RADIUS, LDAP,VLAN , Multifactor Authentication)

- Preferred experience in network of cloud computing(MS Azure)

- Proven experience with Cisco, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Juniper and Bluecoat hardware and software

- Assure Correct sizing, implementation, configuration, and monitoring of the network infrastructure.

- Work closely with the internal Electrolux network team or third-party supplier on the implementation of new infrastructure/services or on the enhancement of the existing one. 

- Support infrastructure installations, ensuring compliance with group and IT standards and ensuring compatibility and consistency across the global infrastructures.

- Ensure activities are performed in line with the global guidelines.

As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/C2W).

Who you are:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information science, or similar.

- Certified CompTIA, or Cisco (CCNP mandatory or CCIE) Routing and Switching

- A minimum of 4-6 years' experience as a network specialist.

- Extensive knowledge of network connectivity, technologies (for example: MPLS, SD-WAN, VPN over internet …), protocols (for example: IP, BGP, OSPF, GRE, IPSEC …), and security (for example DMZ implementation, Multifactor/AAA/ISE authentication)

- Proven knowledge of the market leading network devices

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Willingness to travel if needed.

- Availability to work out of business hours (for example on-call support or planned activity)

- Fluent English.

Where you'll be:

You will be based at the Curitiba administrative office. Located in Prado Velho, it is a new Electrolux location designed from the start to allow for more efficient, connected and flexible collaboration between Electrolux’s support teams.
