What You’ll Do

CoreWeave is seeking a diligent and experienced IT Specialist III to own and troubleshoot our daily Internal IT operations and needs here at CoreWeave. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, repeatable, and sustainable IT and reliability-related support to the organization. You will play a critical role in setting up, maintaining, troubleshooting, and decommissioning user accounts, tools (including security tools), and office technology. You will also assist with network administration, VDI user workstations and related access for company use. In addition, you should have in-depth knowledge of various computer hardware and software technologies, including VDI Deployment, basic scripting, and the ability to assist and resolve all IT Support issues. This role will report directly to the IT Support Manager. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Ability to perform work asynchronously, with minimal to no supervision, having strong attention to detail and exceptional follow-through to resolve the majority of IT issues covering hardware/software & escalating issues to management when they arise
  • Provide detailed and complete documentation to internal teams about configuring and using software within the CoreWeave IT ecosystem
  • Ability to provide sophisticated solutions to complex issues when needed with little guidance; handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; set priorities; meet deadlines per project scope
  • Supporting the day-to-day operations of the CoreWeave IT assets and endpoints
  • Lead internal IT systems administration efforts, troubleshoot internal systems and applications, ensuring high availability and end-user satisfaction
  • Demonstrate ability to present complex, technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • IdP management - including user ID creation, user group creation via Terraform
  • Independently lead onboarding and offboarding IT tasks, including the issuance of IT hardware, and digital identities and training new hires on how to use and access CoreWeave software and 3rd Party tools
  • Independently conduct user off-boarding process, ensuring security policies are fully adhered to and documented for compliance
  • Conduct project-type work, such as building automation and internal processes to better and improve the day-to-day IT systems administration efforts
  • Strong time management, good technical writing, presentation, and documentation skills
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned by IT Management
  • Willingness to learn new technologies/toolsets as part of the job responsibilities

Who You Are

  • 3-5 years of experience in IT, Engineering or a related field
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Degree in computer science or a related field is preferable
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages
  • Advanced experience with a variety of operating systems (Linux OS, Windows OS, and macOS)
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes computing concepts and basic commands
  • Experience administrating *nix and MacOS operating systems
  • Excellent grasp of troubleshooting and debugging techniques and procedures for Mac and *nix operating systems
  • Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting languages
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
  • In-depth experience with configuration management tooling
  • Hybrid flexibility - on-site in Bellevue office support at least 3 days per week
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Configuration management experience
  • Expert knowledge of IT office network topology and physical setup
  • Intermediate cyber security tools such as EDR, Email security and MDM tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $100,000-$125,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
