As an IT quality specialist, you actively help establish and implement multiple quality business solution strategies in a highly complex, large-scale focus area. You help and advise quality specialists in their development and support the other team members with quality-related actions. You're responsible for developing IT projects in terms of quality processes, implementation and testing. You work with architects and delivery professionals to implement, maintain and update projects. You play a cross-sector role and lead and influence teams by acting as a quality practice specialist for your sector. In addition to your technical knowledge and experience, you're a practice leader who takes a leadership role in implementing, maintaining and updating a variety of quality and development approaches. More specifically, you'll be required to:

Define frameworks, implementation and development of quality strategies for targeted teams

Work with architecture and delivery teams to manage different quality requirements (functional and non-functional) as soon as the ideation phase is complete

Work with management as a specialist advisor to implement and interpret solutions quality indicators

Serve as a mentor for the development teams for software quality practices and practices, and lead local communities of practice

Represent the sector in terms of quality assurance practices when dealing with other Desjardins Group or non-Desjardins Group bodies

Document technical solutions and practices to ensure product sustainability

What you bring to the table

Bachelor's degree in IT

A minimum of 6 years experience in IT quality assurance

Experience with quality strategy

Experience with quality assurance best practices

Knowledge of French is required

Intermediate advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients

Knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Sikuli, Selenium)
