About the Opportunity: The National Security Sector at Leidos is seeking an Information Technology (IT) Project Manager to join our mission-critical team at Fort Meade, MD. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a prestigious program supporting Air Combat Command’s (ACC) Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission.
Why This Role? Your expertise will play a pivotal role in supporting the Air Force Communications Squadron. You’ll oversee IT project implementation, ensuring architecture, configuration, and integration align seamlessly. From managing project budgets to coordinating site surveys and preparing IT project packages, you’ll have a direct impact on critical missions.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and deliver projects independently, ensuring day-to-day objectives are met with excellence.

Collaborate closely with team members and external partners to achieve seamless implementation.

Manage and track all aspects of project development, from prioritizing changes to analyzing deliverables and readiness.
-
Identify and mitigate risks while keeping projects on schedule.

Conduct project meetings, including kick-offs and close-outs, and produce insightful meeting minutes.
What We’re Looking For:

A current Top Secret SCI security clearance (with the ability to pass a polygraph after hiring).

A Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 10+ years of experience. 4 + years of additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Proven success in overseeing IT projects.

Deep knowledge of infrastructure design, cable management, and military IT policies.
Preferred Expertise:

Security + CE
-
CISSP
-
CCNA
-
PMP or CAPM certification.

Current Polygraph

Experience with Military Construction Projects (MILCON), CIPS, and Air Force ISR units.

Advanced understanding of IT network security and switching protocols.
