Dynamic Yield, by Mastercard is on the lookout for a IT Project Manager with experience interacting with customers, knowledge of technology, who can empathize with the trials and tribulations of being a developer. As the project manager, you are the bridge between our development team and our account team, walking the tightrope between customer satisfaction and developer ability. The role requires someone who can ensure the proper technical scoping of development tasks and then handle prioritization of any feedback or necessary changes for subsequent development cycles. You’ll serve as the technical scoping expert, guiding our internal strategy team and, ultimately, client satisfaction through their implementation of Dynamic Yield development projects.
Our IT Project Manager must have a strong penchant for technical aptitude along with personality strengths in self-starting and being a proactive instigator. A proven track record of managing development projects end-to-end including requirements gathering, scoping document creation, design review, sprint planning, QA and UAT is a must.
The Task-at-Hand:
• Become an expert in the Dynamic Yield development process.
• Gather all necessary information and technical requirements including design specifications and formulate a clear and concise Statement of Work (SOW) document.
• Communicate directly with the internal development team on prioritizations for sprint planning.
• Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure thorough testing.
• Partner with the Account Management team and Development teams to ensure constant communication and understanding of capacity, priority and current progress of ongoing projects.
• Ideate and implement new processes to increase efficiency of internal development workflow.
• Write documentation, knowledge-based articles, and tutorials to improve the internal understanding of processes.
Optimal Skills for Success:
• 1+ years of technical client-facing experience with specific focus in digital marketing solutions (mobile, web analytics, optimization, email); combined with SaaS product environment
• Experience with managing development projects at a complex organization
• Familiarity with e-commerce specific terms and configuration is preferred
• Comfortable with iOS and Android mobile platforms and their development tools
• Able to read and understand code (especially JavaScript, HTML, CSS, - a must)
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Excellent time management and strong organization skills
• Ability to maintain poise under stress, especially when resolving issues
• Demonstrable ability to take ownership and accountability, and act on client goals and objectives in a technical environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in English
• Must thrive at working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in a team environment while working independently
