Primary Function of this Position: 


Guidewire is investing in improving automation in the procure-to-pay processes by enhancing the user experience in procurement intake and creating a system to track software inventory. We are looking for talented individuals who are passionate about process improvement and automation. As a member of the BizTech team, you will work closely with departments like Procurement, Finance, Infosec, Infrastructure, and Operations. Your role will involve both technical and functional tasks. You will configure and support the Intake to Procure platform and manage the administration and the daily maintenance of the Software asset inventory. This includes setting up intake forms, approval workflows, and integrating APIs with ERP and Software Asset Management (SAM) platforms. You will also review software licenses and their usage to find ways to save costs and improve efficiency.

Responsibilities include:

  • Administration, Configuration and maintenance of Procurement boundary system and Software Asset management (SAM) tools namely Zip, Zylo and related integrations
  • Understand the dependencies on Oracle Fusion ERP (Oracle AP, Coupa) and troubleshoot issues 
  • Conduct discovery sessions with representatives from the business partners in order to understand their requirements
  • Provide the solution to the requirements by enhancements, configuration and implementation, to ensure that solutions are accurately scoped and delivered in line with business partner expectations
  • Configure workflows, procurement and Intake forms, and surveys for Vendors, Business owners and Technical owners to capture data points on purchase requisition and approval workflows.
  • Support quarterly SOX audits via generating reports and maintain above mentioned platforms per prescribed company policies
  • Examine, create, or modify SAM and compliance procedures, software procurement procedures, and license management procedures (including license harvesting, deployment, and retirement)
  • Manage the data quality of software inventory and maintain processes
  •  Maintain metrics, KPIs and periodic reporting to stakeholders.
  • Be independent and collaborate directly with service providers, application development teams, and business partners to develop, test and deploy enhancements to intake to procure(ZIP) and SAM platform(Zylo)
  • Maintain process descriptions, workflows and other via visual diagrams
  • Maintain and efficient and prompt stakeholder communication

Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of configuring any automation workflow tools (e.g. Zip, RPA) and establishing native API integrations with working experience in JSON/XML objects.
  • Experience in maintaining Software especially in procurement/finance and SAM domain
  • Knowledge of Zip, Zylo, Coupa will be an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of procurement processes (Purchase Requisition to AP invoicing) and how software assets are bought, managed
  • Analytical ability and ability to build dashboard and reports across data sources
  • Ability to follow an agile or iterative software development methodology
  • Can-do attitude, ability to learn new applications, and good communication & problem-solving skills

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business or information systems, computer science, Engineering.
  • 5+ years of requirements elicitation, analysis, specification, verification, and management practices and the ability to apply them
  • 2-3+ years of leading or contributing in implementations of enterprise solutions.
