IT Operations Support Analyst

Join us as an IT Operations Support Analyst at Dedalus, one of the World’s leading healthcare technology companies, on our CTO Team in any of the Major City locations of Australia to do the best work of your career and make a profound impact in providing better care for a healthier planet.

What you’ll achieve

As an IT Operations Support Analyst, you will be a self-driven and curious tech enthusiast with a talent for problem-solving and ongoing self-education.

You'll support the back end in a mix of on-premises and Cloud environments to ensure our Dedalus application suites run smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot: Provide efficient end-to-end problem resolution and manage escalations.
  • Monitor: Review alerts, analyse issues, and perform root cause analysis.
  • Administer: Manage operating systems, databases, and Cloud environments; deploy and upgrade software.
  • On-Call Roster: Share rostered on-call schedule with others in the team
  • Optimize: Maintain scripts and identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
  • Collaborate: Participate in design discussions, follow change management protocols, and generate reports.
  • Learn: Continuously develop your skills to keep up with technology evolution

Essential Requirements

  • 3+ Years of Experience in IT services, technical support
  • Basic SQL Server knowledge, including T-SQL querying and database administration
  • Proficiency in Windows administration
  • Scripting Experience: PowerShell and some Azure Platform Administration
  • Networking Knowledge: Good understanding of IP Networking concepts.
  • Cloud Expertise: Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Features and Administration
  • Communication: Highly proficient in written and verbal communications.

Desirable Requirements

  • Education & Certification: Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent industry certifications (or relevant real-world experience).
  • Linux support, developing shell scripts
  • Cloud experience:  AWS administration experience
