Who we are! We are part of Digital-IT team established 17 years ago in Gurgaon, India to provide technology support and rollout digital initiatives to 60 plus global offices. Digital IT has six key pillars – Collaboration Technology; Functional Technology; Digital Technology; Security & Architecture; Infrastructure & Services, Digital Success to support business and to take lead on digital transformation initiatives with the total strength of 150+ team members across the globe. The PositionSenior IT Operations Engineer – Networks will primarily carry out Operations and Support of all network and security systems and resources for a global enterprise infrastructure. This role requires a technical expert with sharp skills in technologies such as Dynamic Routing Protocols, LAN switches, Firewall configuration, SSL and IPSec VPN configuration etc. We are looking for a Network Engineer who excels in a fast-paced and challenging environment, bringing expertise and enthusiasm to our team.
- Responsible for managing LAN, WAN
Manage and support a global LAN, WAN infrastructure primarily comprising of Cisco Routers and Switches. Designing and implementing new solutions and maintaining the highest possible uptime.
- Responsible for managing a Global Wireless Infrastructure
Comprising Wireless LAN controllers, LWAPs in each offices and all associated infrastructure
- Responsible for managing the Global VoIP and IP Video Conferencing infrastructure
Comprising Cisco Call Managers, Unity Connection, VCS Control, Expressway, VC Endpoints, Cisco IP phones, Zoom, MS Teams
- Responsible for managing firewalls, VPNs and other security products
Includes management and upkeep of more than 75 firewalls – Cisco ASA and PaloAlto Networks, Forescout NAC, Zscaler. Maintain and add to a well-established VPN environment and an extensive IPSec VPN setup ensuring business continuity.
- Responsible to manage networking in Azure cloud
Familiar with Virtual Network, VPN Gateway, Peering, UDR and ExpressRoute
- Troubleshooting complex Network & Security issues – This involves
o Complex routing, switching issues and devising new configurations
o Analyzing logs and debugs from security devices and taking informed measures to resolve issues
o Packet capture and analysis to troubleshoot complex issues involving fair understanding of TCP/IP protocol
o Involve TAC support and provide required inputs to resolve issues within a set timeframe
- Evaluating & designing new solutions – This involves
o Understanding the existing setup and devising new solutions/designs in-line to that
o Ensuring optimal use of resources and planning for future growth
o Security solutions to meet the best of the industry standards
o Planning for POC and ensuring no impact on business environment
Perform device reviews to ensure compliance with hardening standards, access controls and security related configuration settings
Prepare documentation including operating procedures, standards, notifications and alerts
Keywords: Routing, Switching, Security, Cloud, BGP, OSPF, VLAN, TCP, CCNP, QOS, VPN, Firewall, ASA
Experience: 5-6 years of relevant experience
Skills
1. Experience in Cisco router configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting
2. Experience in Routing protocol (RIP/OSPF/EIGRP)
3. Strong Knowledge in IP addressing, VLSM, TCP/IP protocol suite; LAN protocols like ARP, DHCP/DNS, VLAN,
EtherChannels, Port security, HSRP and VRRP
4. Expertise on OSPF, BGP, QoS, IPSLA, ACLs, Load balancing and Route manipulation techniques
5. Experience in Configuring & Managing Security Appliances like Cisco ASA, PaloAlto firewalls
6. Experience in VPN technologies - IPSec (site2site, client), SSL VPN (Anyconnect client), GRE VPN
7. Strong skills in packet capture analysis and analyzing logs, debugs
Relevant Professional Qualifications
· Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
· Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
