Summary
The IT Manager position provides infrastructures and services to our manufacturing environment. The position includes maintenance and stable operation of infrastructure as well as a high focus on continuously improvements in services and security. It is required to plan, to manage, and to execute technical tasks, meaning hands-on ability and technical expertise is required.
The IT Manager will be responsible for the entire IT delivery in the manufacturing and workplace environments. He closely interacts with local business stakeholders as well as corporate and external suppliers.
Since compliance and security is one driver in that environment a close collaboration with the security department is key. It is a key task to keep the environments compliant to the applicable standards.
Responsibilities
The IT Manager is accountable for delivering:
• End user and system support on site
• Available and reliable IT systems and IS applications in his/her scope
• Records of activity done on managed incidents, on changes and projects
• Communicate and collaborate with the manufacturing technicians to ensure production delivery
• Keep production, security and site managers informed of potential issues and collaborate with necessary stakeholders to resolve issues
• Effective achievements of agreed changes and projects appointed to him/her
• Advice and implement improvement, alert on potential risks
• Implementing security measures to secure compliance of various standards
• Contributing to security and customer audits
• Providing IT budgetary estimates to the site manager
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• Engineer degree or other solid education in area of Information Technology, IT-Electronics.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience with installation, maintenance and support of IT equipment including, laptop, workstation, servers, printers, network devices is a mandatory asset
•In particular, expertise level (justified by specific training and hands-on experience), in one
domain of network management, server administration is a mandatory asset
• Experience in logical security is a key asset
• Project Management experience is merit
• Clear communication skills and fluent in Dutch and English
• A team player that is used to working towards common objectives and a decision maker with customer focus
Technical skills
• Windows 10, Windows server 2016+ operating systems
• VMware virtualization
• TCP/IP protocols and networks, LAN Switches, VLAN configuration
• Power Shell scripting
• Active Directory (users, groups, computers, GPO)
• Computer & Server Systems updates
• Anti-virus
• Backup software configuration and administration
• Good understanding logical security of information systems
