The Madison Club is seeking an IT Manager to join the Information Technology Department Department.
The IT Manager manages the networks and server infrastructure of our club. Primary duties consist of the security of the company’s computer systems and electronic data, development and implementation of customized systems hardware and software solutions, as well as ensuring that the Member/Customer and Employee computer-related activities function seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist company staff with technical support of desktop computers, applications, server systems and related technology.
  • Maintain daily operations of networks and server infrastructure.
  • Align IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements and goals.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and adjust information systems to operate effectively. Assist in the development of connectivity and capability for IT installations that support Development / Construction, Security, Sales, Accounting, Human Resources and Operations.
  • Troubleshoot phone systems and POS terminals and subnetworks.
  • Activities require interaction with application software and operating systems to diagnose and resolve unique, non-recurring problems.
  • Partners with Discovery Land IT and gains progressive responsibilities relating to the IT infrastructure over time.
  • Provides hardware/software support to both local and remote users and is available to troubleshoot via phone as needed.
  • Assists staff with the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of desktop and server platforms, peripheral equipment and software within established standards and guidelines.
  • Partners with Discovery Land Company contacts to resolve technical problems with desktop, server and networking systems including hardware and software.
  • Trains and orients staff on use of computers, phones, POS and other software.
  • Responsible for desktop, server system, mobile phone and component ordering and configuration.
  • Oversees and tracks successful fulfillment of all orders.
  • Internal Communications Management – Maintain timely communication of progress and status with regard to each of the projects

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience as a professional Information Technology manager.
  • Ability to assess and administer a broad range of network systems and applications in a dynamic and diverse company environment.
  • 3+ years of experience coordinating installations, upgrades, and maintenance
  • Experience with club technology and programs such as Jonas, Timberline, Sage, Microsoft Office required
  • Ability to identify software needs
  • Knowledge of architecture processes and performance reports of operating systems
  • Skills to understand and oversee code development.
  • Problem solver with the ability to navigate complex problems.

  • Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.
  • Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.
