Overview
FuturHealth seeks an experienced IT Manager to oversee and execute the organization’s comprehensive IT operations, including security oversight, vendor management, cloud infrastructure, and compliance. This role will incorporate strategic elements of cybersecurity, threat mitigation, and security governance, working with other senior leadership to ensure robust information security protocols are in place to protect sensitive data, healthcare operations, and client information.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee IT operations while implementing and enforcing robust security protocols in alignment with industry standards (HITRUST, HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with senior leadership to establish a strategic security roadmap and ensure alignment across IT, projects, and operational functions.
- Define and implement security policies and best practices for the organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and industry standards.
- Directly oversee security initiatives such as threat detection, response protocols, risk assessments, and incident management.
- Continuously monitor the organization’s IT infrastructure, including cloud services, device management, and network security, ensuring comprehensive protection.
- Oversee and ensure the integration of IT security policies in cloud and infrastructure projects, hardware, and software provisioning.
- Lead security risk assessments, vulnerability management, and proactive mitigation of security threats.
- Ensure current security compliance audits and certifications (HITRUST, HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001).
- Lead employee security training programs to foster a security culture across the organization.
- Act as the liaison between internal IT needs and external vendors (e.g., Techvera) to ensure security protocols are consistently followed.
- Prepare security reports and metrics for senior leadership and the board, highlighting risks and resolutions.
- Lead IT infrastructure and security projects, including disaster recovery, backup protocols, and ensuring business continuity.
Gap Areas (to CISO)
- Incident Response & Crisis Management: While the IT Manager will oversee security risks and mitigate them, they must partner with a CISO (or an internal incident response team) to manage high-level security breaches and escalated crises.
- Security Awareness & Culture: The IT Manager will handle the training, but a CISO would typically drive the broader security culture, overseeing organizational behavior, phishing awareness programs, and overarching security awareness initiatives.
The pay range for this role is $140,000- $165,000. We offer a competitive salary package and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
