Barstool Sports is seeking an IT Intern to join our growing IT team for the summer. The ideal candidate will assist in troubleshooting, system maintenance, and technical support across our offices, ensuring our employees have the best possible IT experience. This internship runs from May 27 to August 29 and is based 100% in our Chicago office.
What You'll Do
- Assist with IT support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Help set up and maintain workstations, printers, and office technology.
- Support user account management, including onboarding/offboarding employees.
- Assist with network and Wi-Fi troubleshooting to ensure seamless connectivity.
- Manage and organize IT inventory, tracking company assets and equipment.
- Help with cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring company data is secure.
- Document IT processes and create how-to guides for employees.
- Work Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, in-office.
What You Have
- Currently pursuing a degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of Windows, macOS, and networking fundamentals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Interest in media, entertainment, or sports is a plus!
Pay Rate: $16/hr
