Your task scope:
- Third level IT support remote and on premise.
- Manage and optimize virtual infrastructures (VMware vSphere), Citrix farms and network systems.
- Design and implement high-availability, critical IT solutions.
- Oversee bare-metal servers at data centers and manage backup systems (BackupExec/Veeam).
- Manage and supervise Microsoft Entra/Azure environments.
- Troubleshoot and configure VPN/RAS solutions in collaboration with internal teams and external clients.
- Customer communication via phone, mail and ticket system for ticket processing.
- Interface between internal IT, consulting, and external customer IT
- Create and maintain documentation while managing incidents and ensuring smooth IT operations.
Your skills:
- You have a completed vocational training in the field of computer science with a strong focus on IT infrastructure or studied in a similar field.
- Expertise in one or ideally more of the following areas: VPN/RAS solutions, VMware vSphere, Citrix, Windows systems, or PowerShell.
- Solid understanding of networks, routing, scalable system architectures.
- Expertise in Microsoft enterprise technologies (e.g., Active Directory, Entra-ID) and knowledge of current Windows (server/prosumer) operating systems.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
- Fluent in German (C1 or higher) and good written and spoken English skills.
- A valid driver's license is required.
