The Role
Veeva is seeking a detail-oriented compliance manager to join our global IT organization. This role is based in the Central Ohio area. In this role, you will work with our Quality Management, Legal, Finance, and SOX Compliance teams. You will conduct IT risk assessments and manage IT processes as they relate to compliance. You will own the adherence to these processes across our organization. This role will also provide oversight and, in cases, own the delivery of evidence and supporting materials as needed to support audits. This role will report to the CIO.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures for the Enterprise IT organization to meet compliance requirements and mitigate IT Risks
- Conduct Periodic Reviews of Suppliers, Vendors, and Systems to ensure continued compliance with Veeva’s policies
- Support IT Assessments for new vendors (including Software and Service Providers)
- Lead IT Risk Assessments for IT Operations and IT Projects
- Ensure compliance with Veeva’s regulatory requirements including but not limited to Sarbanes-Oxley, Data Privacy regulations, and GxP Validation requirements
- Responsibility of Veeva on Veeva compliance program, including connecting our product compliance processes with our IT compliance processes.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Finance, or Accounting
- 5+ years of experience working in IT Compliance, Audits, and/or IT Risk Management in a publicly listed corporation
- Technical knowledge required of basic cloud computing architecture
- Knowledge of SOX, IFRS, and Public Accounting standards is a must

- Knowledge of CCPA, PIPL, and GDPR
- Public Accounting or Regulatory Consulting experience across different industries

Compensation
- Base pay: $80,000 - $150,000
- The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
