IT Cloud Architect

As an IT Cloud Architect, you will be providing design, implementation and L3 operations and support services to Qualco and customers infrastructures with critical response time requirements for their business technology systems. You will work independently and as member of a team to fulfill service requests. This role requires excellent technical background, prioritization, responsiveness, and customer service, along with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, Deploy and Maintain Cloud Services in MS Azure in a corporate, multi-geography scale;
• Design and implement Cloud integration and interoperability with on-premise infrastructure;
• Design, Implement and Maintain High Availability and Disaster Recovery infrastructure and ensure system availability and reliability;
• Design, Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting services;
• Analyze technical issues and provide 3rd level support;
• Liaise with vendors and other departments for problem resolution;
• Maintain expert level knowledge of various vertical areas of functionality and technology within IT engineering technologies;
• Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy. 

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Azure cloud platform;
• Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining solutions in Azure;
• Client oriented with client facing experience;
• University degree in Computer Science or a related field;
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and project teams, contributing to planned deliverables;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Technical Competencies

• Excellent knowledge and Hands-On experience on MS Azure including PaaS, IaaS, IaC, Azure Networking,;
• Very good Knowledge and hands-on experience in design and implementation of AKS, Azure DevOps, Entra ID, MS Identity and Federations, Monitoring;
• Good Knowledge and hands-on experience on design and implementation of Microsoft Server products and Services (Active Directory/DNS/ADFS);
• Knowledge in configuration of Monitoring Software and/or Full-Stack Observability platforms;
• Strong Information security background and familiarity with Azure Defender ecosystem.
  

Certified in at least one of the following:

• Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305, mandatory);
• Azure Networking Solutions (AZ-700);
• Azure Virtual Desktop (AZ-140);
• Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400).
  

Knowledge and experience in AWS, GCP or Oracle Cloud would be considered a plus.
