About the role
We are looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst to join our Acquisition team within Intact Lab!
As a business analyst, you play a crucial role as a translator and facilitator between business needs, the development team, and the quality assurance team. You will be part of a team whose goal is to create and enhance the features of our acquisition products, collaborate on our growth efforts, and continually optimize a user experience that stands out in the industry. At Intact, we compare to the best customer experiences, period.
Your daily tasks will involve managing a lot of experimentation, both on our main product and on upcoming initiatives. You will need to be rigorous and precise, but also open and willing to challenge the status quo. You will have to navigate the unknown and juggle different initiatives where you will have to lead new ways of doing things.
What you'll do here :

Analyze business needs to define IT solutions.

Lead/participate in business requirements workshops to specify IT solutions.

Conduct impact analyses and effort estimates to advocate for, get approval on, and document the IT solution using effective methods while interacting with both business domain users and the IT project team.

Support the development of solutions and the technical analyses conducted.

Support quality assurance activities and acceptance testing.
-
Assist the Product Owner in defining and prioritizing the backlog.

Document user stories in a way that they are understood by the teams.

Identify and communicate impacts on business processes to support change management in business units in a train-the-trainer mode.

Build and maintain robust, accurate, and accessible functional documentation for all company stakeholders.
What you bring to the table:
-
At least 5 years of relevant experience as IT Business Analyst.
-
Project experience in Agile mode (Scrum, SAFe, etc.).
-
Experience in user-centered design, on web and/or mobile products.
-
Proficiency in JIRA, CONFLUENCE.

Experience in an experimentation context, A/B testing, and innovation (asset).

Experience with SQL, data structure. (asset).
-
Experience and knowledge in the insurance and/or finance field (asset).
-
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.

For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country
