Connected Research Labs in Digital, Data & IT - Research & Early Development (DDIT-RED) supports the strategic digital transformation of our R&ED organization. The primary mission of the department is to support our Research laboratories globally on everything Digital. The department aims to create a streamlined, efficient and innovative IT foundation that supports cutting-edge research through global solutions that address local needs, ensuring that researchers have the best tools and support to drive scientific discovery.
About the role
As an IT Business Analyst for Research & Early Development you will join the IIDP (Instrument Integration Data Platform) team where you'll contribute to the development, adoption and rollout of the IIDP system to our research labs globally.
Key areas of responsibility:
• Drive projects and promote the implementation of new solutions• Automate onboarding of new system• Act as the sparring partner for the digitalization in the laboratories • Bridge solutions from Digital Science & Innovation (DSI) that can benefit the research laboratories so they can focus on doing research and not IT
Qualifications to bring
To be successful in this role you preferably have:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree within natural sciences, engineering, computer science or another relevant area, or equivalent work experience• Experience as Business Analyst, IT Project Manager or similar (preferably around 3 years)• Experience working in a lab setting, and understanding of FAIR data principles, either through studies or work, would be advantageous• Interest and curiosity in the research processes in the laboratories, with desire to implement innovative IT solutions to support research efforts• Fluent English (written and spoken), with strong interpersonal skills to work with people across the organization, ability to instil confidence and translate user needs to effectively impact the organization
As a person you are self-driven, structured, organized, and have an analytical mindset along with a great ability to communicate across functions, levels, and cultures. You can listen as well as understand the IT and business complexities and are able to translate these into opportunities. As a proactive team player, you are happy to share experience and information with your colleagues and ensure the best solutions. In addition, you are flexible and able to function under time pressure as well as able to connect your science and IT skills with Novo Nordisk's business requirements to identify and solve challenges. A natural curiosity and experience in the field is key, as it is your dedication and motivation that ensures your success in this role.
