Job Description
Avery Dennison is seeking an IT Business Analyst to support stakeholders from across our Digital Customer Experience (CX) functions. As a member of a Global IT Organization, the successful candidate will be a key link between IT and the Customer Service, Sales, Operations groups of the business. He or she will understand the business strategy and play a key role in bridging any gaps or opportunities between IT and the line of business. A customer and business-oriented mindset, IT business analysis skills, and previous project experience are mandatory for this position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with key business and IT stakeholders globally
-
Work with the Business Process Owners to evaluate business processes and system improvements
-
Lead requirements gathering sessions, workshops for system enhancements and new technology initiatives across a variety of business processes
-
Propose, test and troubleshoot solutions together with the technical delivery teams
-
Create and maintain updated documentation on business processes, applications and business solutions including process flows, use cases, functional specifications, test cases, training and system manuals, and job aids

Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements

Work with functional Subject Matter Experts to ensure successful end to end functional testing and end user training

Support User Acceptance Testing and issue resolutions. Assist in identifying the root cause and resolution of system and operational issues, analyze data, and recommend solutions

Support roll out activities and knowledge transfer to Application Support teams

Drive continuous improvement of our IT practices, procedures and supporting tools
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree, ideally with a major in IT, Business Administration or Computer Science
-
A Masters degree would be an advantage but not a must
-
5+ years of relevant experience in a business analyst or similar role, ideally within a manufacturing industry around projects in eCommerce, Customer Relationship Management, Pricing and Order Management processes.

Exceptional analytical, conceptual and problem solving thinking skills

The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.

Strong communication skills

Excellent documentation skills

Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills with a history of leading and/or supporting successful projects.

Highly collaborative, able to work independently in a global business environment, across multiple tracks

Must be fluent in English, written and spoken
