JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a dynamic Application Specialist who is ready to play a critical role in delivering successful global enterprise solutions and who can bridge the gap between business and technology teams.
As a member of our IT team, you will play a critical role in optimizing our Salesforce environment. You will collaborate with business and technology groups to elicit requirements. Additionally, you will manage the design and implementation of various Salesforce solutions. The focus will be on implementing the CCD project and standard Salesforce management, overseen by the Business Systems and Analyst and CCD PM.
The Application Specialist will work closely with The Business Development Operations team to increase efficiency and performance across the global Sales organization. This position involves managing multiple tasks, including object management, automation setup, and user management, while providing essential post-implementation support. Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial, as an important skill is to have the ability to understand user needs and provide proactive solutions. This role is key in setting the standard for Salesforce administration within our global organization, contributing to our growth and success.

You will be working closely with various functional groups such as Marketing, Project Management, Business Development, and Finance. Which requires that you can balance and navigate between multiple projects and teams while having great communication skills.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as IT Responsible for specific areas in Global Enterprise Application in the area of CRM and Sales process focusing on Salesforce.
- Collaborating with key business leads to define application strategies, providing guidance and hands-on support for project tasks, activities, and documentation.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand operational objectives and translate them into effective application maintenance practices.
- Participate in project planning, defining project milestones, dependencies, tests, phases, and elements.
- Drive continuous improvement and quality enhancement in systems and processes by studying industry best practices, designing modifications, and implementing governance processes.
- Identify problems and recommend controls, leveraging J-Sox and compliance expertise within the business.
- Collaborate with cross-functional business groups to gather and define requirements for application functionality.
- Transfer knowledge and collaborate with developers and consultants to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and solutions.
- Stay updated on professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, networking, and participating in professional communities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- A minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience analyzing and implementing business solutions with extensive experience working with Salesforce, CRM, Sales, Customer Contracts, and governance.
- Equivalent education and experience may substitute for stated requirements.
Preferred:
- Preferably with 3 years experiences in operations in a Pharmaceutical or regulated environment
- Preferably with 3 years experiences with vendor management and operational change management
- Knowledge of business-specific application systems such as ERP, Workday, etc.
