This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company’s locations: Driftwood Golf and Ranch Club, set outside of Austin, TX.
Driftwood Golf and Ranch Club is seeking an Irrigator to join the Landscape Department.

Key Responsibilities
• Residential and HOA Amenity Audits
• Generating detailed lists of irrigation issues and conducting corresponding repairs.
• Installation of new irrigation systems and required maintenance.
• Developing watering schedules and maintaining programming of irrigation controllers.
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical issues on both 2-wire and standard irrigation systems.
• Attend department meetings and trainings as necessary.
• Any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Working knowledge of irrigation systems, hydraulics, backflow, zoning and scheduling.
• Ability to perform all manners of irrigation repairs.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.
• Detail oriented and excellent communication skills.

• General knowledge of TCEQ codes and guidelines

• Minimum of five (5) years' irrigation expereince installing and performing repairs

• Knowledge of 2-wire irrigation installation and maintenance.

• Ability to perform audits and program controllers.

• Ability to generate detailed reports of irrgination related issues and maintain parts inventory.

• Irrigation Technician license preferred.

• Billingual preferred.

• Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.
