The role

As a Business Development Manager you will play a key role in supporting the growth with a focus on Marine Inspection and Monitoring Service Line (within Marine Asset Integrity).  Focussed on client experience, building relations, and harnessing the power of client intimacy to strengthen and grow the business. 

Who we’re looking for:

You will be working with the service line commercial team, project managers and other sales and marketing professionals within the group to manage a pipeline of business opportunities. You will highlight areas of opportunity and growth outside conventional sales pipeline.  Manage sales pipeline from early lead qualification process through to proposal preparation and contract award.  Maintain and update Avalon CRM system

Responsible for shaping and leading the service lines presence at trade shows, conferences, and events as appropriate - in line with service line strategy implementation

Manage the service lines marketing activities to support new products and key strategic market sectors and opportunities. Drive service line feedback with clients and ensure follow up with project teams to satisfactory close out.

You will have a demonstrable knowledge of Marine energy industry, excellent client facing skills, strategic thinker with the ability to devise solutions.
