The Opportunity   

The mobile architect will help the team in delivering clinically validated, regulatory grade digital health products and solutions in preventive care using Bio-Wearables. You will be a senior technical member of our Architecture and Engineering group devoted to building intelligent products with real-time processing, advanced analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to help patients manage their health. You will design and develop our Mobile and core SDK applications, and frameworks integrated with our intelligent digital health platform built from the ground up on our big data and AI technology stack.
What You’ll Work On 

  • Lead the design and architecture of our iOS mobile applications, including defining technical requirements and overseeing development efforts.
  • Work closely with product managers and UX designers to ensure that the mobile applications meet business and patient’s needs.
  • Evaluate emerging trends and technologies in iOS development and identify opportunities to improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of our applications.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that the mobile applications are integrated with backend systems and APIs.
  • Ensure the security of our mobile applications by implementing secure coding practices, performing security testing, and staying up to date with the latest security threats and best practices.
  • Validate APIs and perform integration testing to ensure that our mobile applications function correctly with backend systems.
  • Create and maintain mock services for testing purposes.
  • Implement versioning strategies for our mobile applications to ensure that updates are delivered seamlessly to our patients.
  • Develop solutions for offline support in our mobile applications.
  • Define and implement federated architecture solutions for our mobile applications.
  • Provide high level effort estimations for new features and projects.
  • Conduct code vulnerability assessments to identify and address potential security risks.
  • Develop unit test cases and conduct code reviews to ensure that the team is delivering high quality, maintainable code.
  • Define coding standards and best practices for the development team.
  • Develop custom components or controls as needed to meet the requirements of our mobile applications.
  • Implement remote configuration solutions to enable us to change application behavior without requiring an update.
  • Design and develop clean and reusable architecture for our mobile applications.
  • Provide innovative solutions for future requirements and new technologies integration.
  • Evaluate Latest mobile technologies, frameworks, and appropriate dependency choices.
  • Partner with AI scientist on developing novel ways of using compressed models in mobile applications.
  • Integrate, profile, and optimize state of the art mobile neural networks along with integrating with server-side neural networks.

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in iOS development, with a focus on architecture and design.
  • Strong understanding of iOS development best practices, including memory management, network programming, and user interface development.
  • Experience with Swift and Objective-C programming languages, as well as iOS frameworks such as UIKit, Swift UI, Core Data, and Core Animation.
  • Experience with REST, JSON/XML, and GraphQL.
  • Experience in delivering mobile apps at scale.
  • Experience in building SDKs and libraries that are used by app developers
  • Experience integrating 3rd party partner APIs/SDKs.
  • Extensive knowledge in object-oriented software development, MVP and MVVM architecture, multi-threading, networking and memory management.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, and maintainable code. \
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and integrating mobile applications with backend systems and APIs.
  • Experience with React Native is a huge plus.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide developers to achieve project goals.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with the Bluetooth stack.
  • Experience with cross-mobile solutions across Android and iOS.
  • Experience with Kotlin, Coroutines and Networking libraries like Retrofit.
  • Experience working with Quality Management Systems.
  • Experience with medical devices and/or Software as a Medical Device.
  • Familiarity with Wearable, Bio-Wearable and IoT Devices.

The base pay for this position is

$146,700.00 – $293,300.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
