Description
We are seeking a skilled iOS Engineer to join our development team. As an iOS Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of our iOS applications.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our users' needs.
Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop advanced iOS applications, ensuring their functionality, performance, and usability.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Understand the technical design and architecture of iOS applications, ensuring they follow best practices and industry standards.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, and conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to coding standards.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks in a timely manner.
  • Continuously optimize and improve existing iOS applications for enhanced user experience and performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest iOS development trends, tools, and technologies, and proactively share knowledge with the team.
  • Collaborate with QA engineers to ensure proper testing and quality assurance of iOS applications.
  • Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives


Requirements:

  • Professional iOS development experience, including experience with Swift.
  • Strong knowledge of iOS SDK, XCode, and related tools.
  • Proven track record of developing and shipping high-quality, performance-driven iOS applications.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and software development best practices.
  • Experience with GraphQl APIs, JSON, and XML.
  • Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks, continuous integration, and version control systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and resolve technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proactive mindset, with a desire to learn and stay updated on the latest iOS development trends and technologies.

Qualifications

  • Three years of software engineering experience.
  • Experience working in an agile environment utilizing Scrum, Kanban or XP.
  • Demonstrated success in platform modernization initiatives, utilizing technologies such as REST; micro services; cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud; and Java, NodeJS and Spring Boot.
  • An ability to code in multiple languages, including an object-oriented language, preferably Java/J2EE.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills-and a knack for explaining your decision-making process to non-engineers.
  • A collaborative, adaptable working style, demonstrated initiative and the ability to prioritize your time and efforts.
  • A thorough grasp of technology concepts, business operations, design and development tools, system architecture and technical standards.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tools.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience.
