PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and build customer-facing apps for the iOS platform
- Architect modular, reusable code
- Collaborate with the product team to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean code and comprehensive tests
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Develop new features while maintaining the existing code base with a focus on performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technology
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.S. degree in a computer oriented field (or equivalent experience) and 5+ years of work experience
- Deep understanding of iOS paradigms
- Passion for Technology
- You have a proven track record of building native apps using technologies like Swift, SwiftUI, or UIKit
- Experience with collaborative source control, preferably Git
- Experience developing feature-rich iOS apps
- Highly collaborative problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to rapidly iterate from prototype to shipping product
- Familiarity with instrumentation and analysis tools
- Comfortable with Test-Driven Development, Continuous Build and Integration methodologies
- You are upbeat, adaptable, and results oriented with a positive attitude
- You have excellent judgment and integrity with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Developing apps for IoT devices, especially Bluetooth devices
- Working in a modular app
- Working within a larger product team
