Investor Relations Manager

The purpose of Investor Relations (IR) department is to act as a two-way interface between the company and the equity market. The IR team communicates Telenor’s strategy to the market while also contributing to shaping it, making the voice of shareholders heard in the process. Together with the team, the Investor Relations Manager will liaise with analysts and investors, delivering best practice communication to global equity markets. We place great emphasis on ensuring that relevant and timely information is distributed to the market and that all stakeholders are treated equally.

As part of the Telenor Group's IR team, you will work closely together with the Group CFO and CEO in planning, preparing, and communicating messages to the equity market, and provide feedback from the equity market back to Telenor's senior management. The Investor Relations Manager reports to the Senior Vice President Capital Markets and Investor Relations.

Some of the main responsibilities:

• Maintaining an open, transparent and compliant dialogue with the financial market. 

• Precise and effective communication with analysts and investors, both on an equity story level and sub-topic level.  

• Planning and participation in IR activities including international investor roadshows, conferences and Capital Markets Days.

• Support management and BoD in their understanding and interaction with the financial market.

• Providing strategic decision makers in Telenor with a thorough understanding of trends and sentiments in the capital markets.

• Contribute to the preparation of material and messages for external financial communication including larger events like quarterly results calls and Capital Markets Days.

• Written communication via the Oslo Stock Exchange and ensuring that Telenor handles sensitive information according to regulation.

Experience and qualifications

We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented professional with solid financial competence, analytical acumen and strong communication skills.  

We believe you have strong networking and collaboration skills, and you can easily navigate across organizational and cultural borders, internally and externally, and at all levels. Excellent and presentation skills, and fluent verbal and written English is key to succeed in this role. Mastering the Norwegian language is an advantage. You have higher relevant education and solid academic credentials.

An understanding of the telecom and technology sectors, and/or experience from the equity market, would be an advantage, but not a requirement.
