Who You’ll Work With:

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team plays a critical role as trusted partner to the Investments businesses at Alliance bernstein, supporting all analysis, reporting, and business planning needs. We produce multi-year plans and forecasts; create and analyze business metrics and identify cost savings opportunities; and deliver economic insight into the relationships between costs and revenues to improve the financial success of the business going forward. We are a valued and critical component of the management function, working at all levels of the business to provide both a broad and deep understanding of the firm’s financial position and opportunities.

Position Overview:

This VP-level FP&A position drives multi-year planning and transformation initiatives with the investment Asset class teams. The Investments FP&A team works closely with the Investment leaders to build growth plans and develop financial forecasts to guide business decisions. The role entails leading special projects, building senior-level presentations, conducting analysis, developing strategic decision-making models and driving change within the business. Candidates should have proven problem solving and project management skills, be able to multi-task and effectively manage priorities, clearly communicate results orally and in writing, and should be able to analyze and interpret data. 

What You’ll Do:

• Partner with business leaders to develop and track KPIs and leading indicators aligned with business and corporate objectives

• Project manage and drive transformation initiatives

• Develop high-quality presentations and executive summaries for senior leadership, supplemented by FP&A team inputs and analyses

• Build and maintain robust financial models to support scenario analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning efforts

• Collaborate with cross-functional partners (including Controllers, Human Resources, Investor Relations, Corporate Strategy) and Finance teams in advancing projects and managing the business

• Drive a collaborative and supportive work environment, actively seeking out opportunities to develop team members

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience partnering with senior leadership at A global level, including opportunity to challenge businesses and set strategy

• Direct exposure to firm decision-making processes, with insight into cross-functional areas of collaboration to drive value for the firm

• A collaborative, committed and high-performing culture across the global FP&A team

Qualifications:

• 5-7+ years of experience in the financial services or technology sector, preferably at a premier asset manager, investment bank, public accounting or consulting firm or innovative technology organization

• Ability to clearly articulate and present ideas both in written presentations and orally to senior management

• Demonstrated experience leading complex projects with cross-functional stakeholders

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to decompose problems and develop innovative solutions

• Professional, positive demeanor; collaborative orientation; relationship-builder
