Position Description
We are seeking an investment product specialist to enhance our product distribution business and drive the growth of our regular product program to increase product. With a client-focused approach, the investment specialist will be responsible for preparing investment reports, conducting thorough market research, and providing well-researched investment recommendations, contributing to the success of our product distribution efforts and ensure client satisfaction.
Key Areas of Responsibilities for: Investment (Product) Specialist (equity focus)

Provide well-researched investment recommendations and timely investment ideas with a focus on global equity markets and individual stocks to product specialists, investment counselors and sales team.

Deliver high-quality investment reports, write-ups, presentation materials and speech mainly on stock commentary and trading strategy, both regularly and upon request.

Participate actively in client calls/meetings along with sales team to present our house view, trading strategy and investment findings.

Maintain a cutting-edge understanding of investment market trends across asset classes particular in equites, ensuring the ability to provide timely and relevant insights.

Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams esp. research team to promote the Group’s research & corporate access services targeting institutional clients, corporate clients and UHNWI clients.
Requirements

Degree or above with major in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related disciplines, professional qualification of CFA, FRM, and/or CPA is highly desired.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial institution with a strong focus on equity advisory and/or portfolio management. Experience in private banking/private wealth management field is a must.

Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel. Knowledge of VBA and other financial modelling tools is advantageous.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a proactive attitude and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Team player with strong presentation, analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.

Strong command of written English / Chinese and spoken Mandarin, Cantonese and English.

Candidate with less experience might also be considered.
