Investment Brokerage Intern

Marcus & Millichap is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Investment Brokerage Intern to support a top-producing Commercial Real Estate Broker based in Holmdel, New Jersey. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the commercial real estate industry within a high-energy, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, resourceful, and possesses a positive, professional demeanor. The internship will be approximately 6-9 months, on-site at Bell Works Holmdel.

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in this role is $20 per hour.  The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc.  Marcus & Millichap is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states. 

Administrative Support

• Manage and maintain CRM database of properties and ownership records
• Maintain and segment email databases; generate call and email lists
• Organize and update property listings across internal systems and third-party platforms such as CREXI and CoStar
• Assist with email marketing campaigns using platforms such as Constant Contact

Market Research & Communication

• Conduct market research and analyze data to support client strategies and investment decisions
• Collaborate effectively with team members and clients in a professional setting
• Leverage AI Tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to enhance research, communication, and operational efficiency

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with sharp attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Tech-savvy, quick to learn new tools and platforms
• Positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to take initiative
