Investment Project and Program Management, Senior Specialist

Core Responsibilities

1. Manages programs or major workstreams of broad and complex process improvements and implementations on behalf of subdivisions focusing on investment projects. Ensures that the scope of the program aligns with business priorities and that business value is properly measured for prioritization.

2. Develops, implements, and monitors complex project plans. Contributes high-level expertise to major project deliverables, and milestones. Drives process improvements, including product and process ownership and governance, and key performance indicators.

3. Acts as a key contributor and drives the growth of various programs and processes focused on investment produc. Has a deep understanding of the end-to-end process design, systems used, and process capabilities. Defines and supports goals and monitors performance with help from the product and process owners.

4. Acts as a division-wide process subject matter expert. Provides expertise regarding best practices and common obstacles based on prior experiences. Serves as a trusted advisor to ensure projects are aligned with the overall company strategy and market conditions.

5. Ensures all steps are taken to mitigate risk and maintains control, compliance, audit, and legal requirements. Maintains an appropriate level of technical and business knowledge to support program implementation.

6. Builds effective cross-divisional relationships. Communicates project status and issues regularly to stakeholders, including leaders, team members, and senior managers.

7. Manages the work and prioritization in the continuous improvement pipeline. Tracks progress and provides updates to the appropriate parties. Analyzes data to construct business cases, inclusive of ROI/opportunity space assessment, as appropriate to support prioritization of critical projects at the divisional level.

8. Defines and develops clear success measures for each initiative and measures progress relative to those success measures. Measures the effectiveness of the executed projects and performs other analyses of data to measure the department’s progress towards its strategic goals.

9. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
 

Qualifications

• Minimum of eight years related business experience. Financial Services and function-specific experience required. Minimum of four years project management experience. Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Graduate degree preferred.
