Job Scope:

Join 500 Global’s Southeast Asia team as an Investment Operations Analyst. In this role, you will lead and manage critical operational projects, coordinating processes among diverse internal teams and external partners. As a detail-oriented, self-directed professional, you will be responsible for streamlining operations, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, and maintaining high standards under pressure. This position demands exceptional time management skills and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Essential Functions

• Project manage all requests from portfolio companies (i.e. financing rounds, transactions, material changes, etc)
• Coordinate the end-to-end processes, from reviewing documentation to working with counsel to wiring
• Review all incoming communications and documentation to ensure they are completed and delivered on time
• Project manage internal and external stakeholders from multiple jurisdictions to facilitate timely completion of deals
• Maintain all investment and portfolio company documentation in central shared drive for record keeping
• Extract critical investment data from documentation, and reconcile, maintain and update internal trackers
• Provide regular and ad hoc portfolio reporting and analysis to the broader investment team
• Support finance and investment teams in quarterly fund accounting and audit-related processes
• Propose + implement innovative solutions to optimize workflows, including the use of AI to reduce manual workload
• Develop + implement analyses to enhance decision-making processes, including the use of AI to generate insights
• Perform market research and financial analysis to drive decision making on investment opportunities
• Conduct company due diligence and take meticulous notes to inform preparation of investment memorandums
• Support preparation of investment memorandums and presentations for internal deliberation

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a professional corporate environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy. 
• Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and drive to achieve ambitious goals.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of venture capital or private equity
