Investment Management Oversight Analyst (IAIFM)
Full-time, Permanent
Hybrid, 3 days Onsite
The Position
As an authorised Alternative Investment Fund Manager (AIFM) we provide regulatory compliant solutions to both EU and non-EU managers. Licensed by the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) our AIFM-offering includes the requisite substance, infrastructure, employees, resources, systems, reporting disclosure, and supervision of service providers and delegated activities to comply with the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD).
Our Investment Management oversight team oversees and implements due diligence on investment decisions to ensure compliance with the investment objective, strategy, and policy of each Fund under management. The jobholder will report directly to the Designated Person ("DP") for Investment Management and be responsible for supporting the DP in their function.
The successful candidate will be involved in the necessary Investment Management functions as set out under AIFMD and various CBI consultation papers and will work across all the alternative investment funds ("AIFs") under management. They will also assist the AIFM in fulfilling its obligation in accordance with its Programme of Activity.
Primary Responsibilities

  • Assisting for Liquidity and Cash management tasks on an ongoing basis.
  • Assisting with the drafting and updating procedures on an ongoing basis.
  • Daily, Monthly & Quarterly review of portfolio information from the Fund Administrators and Investment Managers.
  • Assisting in the preparation of Board reporting papers as delegated by the Managers.
  • Ownership for general AIFM intern functions as directed by the Senior Management Team.


Required knowledge and experience.
We are looking for individuals who are/have:

  • 1-3 years' experience in a Fund Management Company, an Investment or Asset Manager or Fund services (Admin, Depo)
  • 3rd level degree, open to all backgrounds including business, finance, science, engineering, arts & humanities.
  • Experience with AIFMD regulation is preferable, UCITS knowledge also helpful.
  • Familiarity with different investment strategies and Structures employed in the alternative asset class.
  • Excellent Microsoft office skills (Excel in particular)
  • An ability to combine initiative with team working.
  • Attention to detail and excellent written and oral communication;
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Strong personal integrity and the ability to demonstrate this in a collegiate and challenging environment.
