Our client, based in Braintree, MA, is seeking an Investments Associate to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will support the investment operations team by onboarding and assisting representatives managing investments. The Investments Associate will handle administrative tasks, process transactions, and deliver exceptional service to meet the needs of both clients and advisors with precision and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Process cash distributions via ACH, checks, bank transfers, wires, stop payments, and deposits.
- Prepare and process all paperwork required for investment/advisory accounts.
- Assist with client rollovers by working with 3rd-party institutions.
- Monitor systems (e.g., ENV2) for alerts and upcoming annual reviews.
- Generate, review, and manage documentation for opening investment accounts.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding account information.
- Contact clients to complete outstanding documentation and resolve service-related issues.
- Consult and debrief advisors on client account openings and updates.
- Respond to administrative requests from registered representatives.
- Act as a liaison for investment needs, mutual fund access, client service, and troubleshooting paperwork issues.
Qualifications
- Preferred Licenses: Series 6 and Series 63 or Series 7 and Series 63.
- Experience: 1-3 years of securities industry experience preferred.
- Education: Degree in Finance preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and accuracy when managing tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Above-average math and data entry skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize effectively, and stay organized.
- Strategic and proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative.
- High ownership of responsibilities and resourceful problem-solving skills.
- Client service-focused with a genuine desire to contribute to the practice's growth.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base Salary: $100,000-120,000
- Performance Bonus: 10% annual performance bonus based on individual contributions.
- Company Bonus: Additional goal-based bonus tied to company performance, calculated off base salary (historically 8-10%).
