Equifax's Global Investigations team is made up of a small group of dedicated Global Internal and Fraud Investigators. This is an intermediate level position (2 to 5 years experience required) and will provide investigative technical analysis and support to the Global Investigations Team in response to complaints of violations of regulatory mandates; internal company policies, ethics violations as well as federal, state, and local laws; potentially committed by employees, contractors, and vendors. The role will also involve the usage of internal and external resources for intelligence, root cause analysis, and gap remediation. All responsibilities and activities undertaken by the Technical Analyst will be executed in a confidential and professional manner.
Intermediate level Technical Investigations Analyst activities require a clear understanding of data analytics and communicating findings through dashboards, trend and link analysis. They will demonstrate a strong capability to monitor and audit incoming information for potential threats; evaluate personnel security information; as well as gathering information for a centralized analysis, reporting and response capability. The Analyst will work in tandem with Senior Investigators, Legal Counsel, Human Resources, the Cyber Security Team as well as others to fully conduct investigations. They will be required to support the creation and review of enterprise-wide standards regarding the security of internal information and assets, and they may be required to occasionally work outside normal business hours & some travel may be required.

This position is based in Atlanta. This resource should be local to Atlanta and will be required to work from the following Equifax office location - Alpharetta
Corporate Return To Office expectations: Onsite weekly requirements (each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). * Due to the nature of investigations and security, this role will require additional onsite responsibilities during the week (Monday and / or Friday) as needed, occasional work outside normal business hours, & possible travel (10% or less), due to the nature of investigations responsibilities.

Reporting, preparation and analysis of monthly metrics

Run analysis and synthesize findings into easy to understand and actionable recommendations

Provide analysis and investigation of security related data from a wide range of devices and environments

Collect and analyze available data to identify and evaluate threats and risks to Equifax assets and personnel

Conduct root cause and technical analysis for data loss / exfiltration to enhance prevention

Gather information from relevant parties through in person and virtual meetings
What experience you need
-
Bachelor's Degree highly preferred (Willing to consider experience that aligns closely to all requirements w/out a degree).

Minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant working experience in information security, investigations, as a Security Analyst, and/or in similar positions.

Working knowledge and/or experience with common Internet protocols (TCP/IP, etc.) and network / security tools & applications

Familiarity with cloud based data analysis and security tools (NetSkope, Devo, SentinelOne, etc.)

Experience collecting Open Source Intelligence through various platforms and methods

Experience operating in support of corporate security principles and industry best practices

Must have professional experience using Google Suite (to include fluency in use of Google Sheets (or MS Excel) used for reporting purposes)

Working knowledge of DLP Tools, Access Control systems, and video surveillance platforms

Industry recognized training / certification in investigative interviewing (CFI, Wicklander-Zulawski, Reid)

Bi-lingual (Spanish) would be a plus

Knowledge in SQL, CCure, and / or Avigilon

Experience conducting interviews with subjects of interest and / or interest in developing interviewing skills

Independent and proactive approach to problem solving
