Your role

Support the Strategic Corporate Development team on internal and cross-divisional strategic initiatives

Identify long-term market developments and analyze trade, geopolitical and macroeconomic trends
-
Support the creation of dashboards using Power BI (or similar tools) to communicate data-driven market research across the ZEISS Group
-
Support the development of AI-based market intelligence tools
-
Support corporate projects on strategic goals and the long-term ZEISS growth strategy
-
Identify and screen potential investment targets a part of the M&A process
-
Tasks allow you to take on responsibility with guidance from a senior manager with the opportunity to get to know different business areas
Your profile
You are currently in your Masters studies in economics, business administration, industrial engineering or a science / technology / engineering / math (STEM) subject with additional economics modules.
Moreover, you have:

Achieved excellent grades during your degree

Strong analytical skills and the ability to implement

A high level of creative potential and you can work in an independent and goal-oriented manner

Gained initial knowledge and experience in corporate strategy work (e.g. market and competitor analyses, portfolio management, innovation management, financial valuation techniques, post merger integration)

Business-fluent German and English, an outstanding communication style and are confident in a business environment

Preferably, initial experience with the high-tech industry or at a top management consultancy

Preferably, initial experience in the development of dashboards using Power BI
