We are looking for a long-term intern in the Milan office starting on April 2025 for 6 months. Within Human Resources, Talent Acquisition is responsible for being a strategic partner to the business in ensuring the delivery of the bank’s recruitment and internal mobility activities, the onboarding of new employees as well as developing and refining the bank's employer brand.
Responsibilities
The intern will have the opportunity to assist the team and be trained on the following activities:
- Source and attract talent – (e.g. representing the bank at employment fairs, participating in campus recruiting activities with regard to graduate hiring, building robust sourcing pipelines/networks for targeted talent pools).
- Identify the right sourcing channels to advertise and post jobs to create talent pipelines (e.g., supporting hiring managers in improving job descriptions, posting on internal and external sites, providing specifications and briefings to external recruiting agencies, etc.).
- Evaluate and screen talent (e.g. analysing resumes for relevant skills, knowledge and qualifications, conducting screening interviews, guiding managers with interviews, assessment criteria, hiring best practices, checking references and providing feedback to candidates).
- Manage the recruitment process in line with bank policies (e.g. managing multiple Compliance, AFC, Reward and Legal checks as part of the hiring process. Partnering with hiring managers to navigate the process).
- Manage onboarding candidates (e.g. assessing talent in line with the bank's aspirational culture, facilitating onboarding, and background screening in partnership with onboarding team).
Skills
- Near completion of a Bachelor/Master Degree.
- Curiosity and enthusiasm-driven person.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English.
Start Date: April 2025, 6 months internship.
