About the role

This opportunity is open to candidates who are currently enrolled in studies. Proof of enrollment will be required.

Join our dynamic Consumer and Business Insights and Analytics (CBIA) team at Haleon, specifically within the OTC (over the counter) category, where we are dedicated to enhancing our understanding of consumer behaviour and market trends. Our team plays a crucial role in driving business decisions and strategies through data-driven insights.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our CBIA team for a period of 6 months. As an Insights Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals and contribute to projects which aim to uncover valuable consumer and market insights, specifically when it comes to OTC pain relief. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in data analysis, market research, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of consumer and market data.

  • Support the development of insights reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.

  • Conduct market research to answer specific business questions on our systemic pain relief brands, Panadol and Advil.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate insights into business strategies.

  • Participate in the setting up, design, and execution of surveys and other research methodologies.

  • Help maintain and update databases and dashboards with relevant data.

  • Contribute to the preparation of presentations and reports for senior management.

  • Be responsible for creating knowledge documents or summaries using existing internally available reports.

  • Assist in establishing a consumer first culture through relevant programs and initiatives.

Qualifications and skills

Essential

  • A genuine interest in people and understanding what makes them tick

  • Bachelor degree in a scientific field, psychology, data analytics, marketing or similar.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Fluency in English.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn about consumer and market insights.

Valuable

  • Good command of another language is a bonus, particularly French.

  • Experience working in a healthcare or medical environment.

  • Previous experience of market research or business insights.
