The International Tax Associate will work closely with the International Tax Practice Leader and the rest of the International Tax group to provide a wide variety of compliance and consulting services for both inbound and outbound clients.Success FactorsResponsibilities
- Preparing complex tax returns for multinationals and foreign-owned businesses
- Work on multiple complex issues while communicating in a non-technical manner to clients and internal team members
- Demonstrating a general knowledge of foreign tax credits
- Completing tax planning and research
- Developing an understanding of worldwide tax minimization, transfer pricing, and accounting for income taxes
- Advising clients on a full spectrum of International Tax services including planning, research, and compliance

Education, Experience and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA certification a plus
- At least 1 year of experience in international tax reporting including, but not limited to Forms 5471, 5472, 8865, 8858, and 1118
- A desire to learn and develop with the ever-changing international tax landscape
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite products, strong analytical knowledge in Excel
Essential Functions
- Regularly required to perform manual tasks, concentrate, think, learn, communicate, sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, grasp, handle or feel objects, reach with arms, talk and hear
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position as needed
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office and on site at client locations, stoop, kneel, crouch, push and pull
- Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner and exchange information with internal and external actors as needed
- Ability to lift/carry up to 20 pounds
- Ability to work outside of normal business hours and weekends as needed
- Ability to travel to local and non-local clients and events as needed, overnight travel may be required

Salary Range:
$60,000 - $70,000
