As a Internal Sales Executive you would be expanding sales in existing Covetrus accounts and new ones.You would be achieving set sales targets by selling pharmaceuticals, consumables, human medicines, plus other related categories to the Veterinary Industry within a defined set of accounts.Contacting customers daily directly to build relationships, initiate sales, support our Field Sales Team by arranging appointments, requesting, and preparing sales data to support to Field Sales Team for their upcoming meetings and to arrange and present maintenance meetings for our customers to present how to grow their business within Covetrus.Duties and Responsibilities Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, providing product information, pricing, and availability.
- Actively engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions to meet their requirements and utilize CRM tools to document all interactions and information.
- Proactively follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
Sales and Business Development
- Achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth by actively promoting products and services.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including acquiring new customers and expanding our customer base.
- Conduct outbound sales calls and emails to generate leads, qualify prospects, and convert them into customers.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement sales campaigns, product promotions, and other sales initiatives.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates to the sales manager.
- Follow strict administrative processes to ensure that all sales and subsequent invoicing etc. is processed in a timely and accurate manner. You will be expected to keep the CRM and Sales Force system updated as required.
Product Knowledge and Expertise
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of our product portfolio, including pharmaceuticals, vaccines, nutritional supplements, and medical equipment.
Experience
- Experience: Tele-sales are desired but not required
- Proven ability to meet targets Knowledge of customer management
- Educated to a minimum of GCSE / Standard Grade Level
- Excellent interpersonal and telephone communication skills.
- Must be flexible in approach and have excellent organisational skills.
- Proven attention to detail and accuracy essential.
- Must be highly motivated with a proven track record in a Sales environment.
- Commercial awareness and experience of working with others within a professional, fast paced office environment.
