Join Wipfli as an Internal Audit Senior Consultant to guide clients through comprehensive audit processes. Contribute to ensuring compliance and elevating operational efficiencies while collaborating with a diverse team of professionals.
Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate whether controls are designed appropriately and operate effectively
  • Interview and collaborate with personnel at all levels within the client organization
  • Identify areas of concern, formulate recommendations for improvement, and effectively share this information with others (both verbally and written)
  • Obtain and analyze client information and data
  • Run and perform work on client engagements, including planning, scheduling, and ensuring timely completion of projects
  • Answer questions from less experienced team members
  • Provide proactive assistance and consultative advice to clients
  • Complete initial reviews of testing documentation prepared by consultants
  • Ability to travel to client sites, 10% - 20%


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years' experience in a professional services firm or 5+ years of private industry experience focused on Internal Audit with 1+ years in professional services
  • In depth understanding of auditing standards
  • Experience in public accounting or consulting preferred
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to balance many projects simultaneously

Wipfli values fair, transparent, and competitive compensation, considering each candidate's unique skills and experiences. The estimated base pay range for this role is $72,000 to $120,000, with offers typically not made at the maximum, allowing for future salary increases. The actual salary at the time of offer depends on business related factors like location, skills, experience, training/education, licensure, certifications, business needs, current associate pay, and relevant employment laws.
Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
