Now, we’re looking for an Internal Audit Intern to join our team in Malaysia (onsite)—an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience and collaborate with our global internal audit team.
Why This Role
As an Internal Audit Intern, you’ll develop valuable auditing skills, interact with key stakeholders, and contribute to a high-impact function within Dexcom. You will gain exposure to SOX 404 compliance, operational audits, and regulatory audits, helping to reinforce business integrity and efficiency.
Your Role & Responsibilities
🔹 Assist in Internal Audits: Support the execution of SOX 404, operational, and regulatory audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and business policies.
🔹 Conduct Control Testing: Perform control testing and documentation to evaluate effectiveness and compliance with internal controls.
🔹 Audit Execution & Reporting: Complete assigned audit tasks on time and maintain high-quality testing documentation.
🔹 Stock Count Participation: Gain exposure to inventory verification processes by participating in stock count audits.
🔹Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with internal teams and collaborators, gaining valuable business insights.
🔹 Special Projects: Work closely with expert audit professionals on ad-hoc projects, adapting to changing business needs.
What Makes You a phenomenal Fit?
✅ Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized institution.
✅ Strong understanding of accounting principles, audit fundamentals, and financial reporting.
✅ Diligent and analytical, with excellent organizational skills.
✅ Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
✅ Strong communication skills in both verbal and written English.
✅ Ability to work independently and in teams while managing time optimally.
✅ Keen curiosity about internal audit and SOX 404 compliance.
