IFF is a consumer centric organization. The CI team plays a key role in product development processes and conducts and analyzes consumer research to understand how to fulfill consumer needs. They provide insights to support the Creative department and the Marketing and Sales decisions. Thanks to an extensive set of tools and methodologies, like (online) consumer connects, preference

evaluation and home use tests, the Consumer Insights team targets to be the voice of the consumer in IFF. With that, the team in Hilversum look for an intern that can support us in that role.

Job Description

Support the CI team with desk research, setting up questionnaires, test protocols, logistics and data analysis. Provide consumer product and fragrance insights. Prepare results presentations. In addition, support the marketing analysists with building market intelligence.

Duration:   6 months (flexible)

Period:   flexible
Place:   Hilversum (Netherlands) / Home office for 2 days a week.
Allowance   600€  including potential commuting cost.

This position does not allow for servicing relocation. Candidates living in the Netherlands or willing to arrange their relocation are welcome to apply.

ABOUT YOU

Personal: We are looking for a student that is meticulous, pragmatic, open-minded and with a good cross-cultural communication ability. People with high motivation, force of proposal and ability to work independently will receive special attention.

Scientific:The student must have a good knowledge in consumer research with strong analytical, statistical and modeling skills (descriptive, parametric & non parametric statistical analysis, multifactorial analysis, regression modelling, etc.). Knowledge of, or experience with, online (research) tools and programming skills is a plus.

Language: Excellent scientific and professional English skills are required, written or oral (mandatory).
